Bilbao Exhibition Centre
Bizkaia (Barakaldo) fairground and events. It operates the largest photovoltaic roof of Bizkaia (990 kW, 2023, ~18% self-consumption, through BEC Solar with EVE), certifies its fairs as sustainable events with the Erronka Garbia label from Ihobe since 2022 and consumes 53% renewable energy.

Museo Guggenheim Bilbao
A modern and contemporary art museum in Bilbao. The museum publishes information on its carbon footprint, use of renewable electricity and installation of 300 solar panels. Its 2024 activity report sets a goal of progressing towards climate neutrality in 2030; this is a target, not a result already achieved.
Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia
Public organization responsible for the provision of drinking water in primary network and sanitation and sewage treatment in Bilbao and much of Bizkaia. It generates renewable energy in its own facilities (hydroelectric and photovoltaic), maintains an ISO 14001 environmental management system since 2009 and publishes annual monitoring plans for the receiving environment of its treatment plants.

Energy recovery plant for non-recyclable waste at Bizkaia (Ecoparque de Artigas, Bilbao), in operation since 2005. In 2025 tried. 203.143 t and generated 353.428 MWh; has installed a new overheater that allows an operating mode with more than one 90 % less natural gas, operates a gas GNC and supplies its ashes to the new Petronor ecoarid plant/OCO.

Euskalduna Bilbao
Palacio de Congresos y de la Música de Bilbao (Euskalduna Jauregia). It has 711 photovoltaic panels that cover up to 10% of its consumption, buys 100% of its electricity from renewable sources, reduced its water consumption by 20% in 2025 and has renewed lighting, boilers and monitoring consumption.

It has reduced the energy consumption of its foral sector by 6% compared to 2016-2018, electrifies Bizkaibus's fleet and approved in December 2025 the Foral Energy Performance Plan (23 measures, -35% in 2030) aligned with the Climate Strategy of Bizkaia 2050.
Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea
Basque public university with campuses in Bizkaia (Leioa/Bilbao), Gipuzkoa and Araba. Publish your inventory of GEI (36.806,58 t CO2e in 2024), it is deploying ten photovoltaic and ten renewable thermal installations (~2.000 kWp And ~2.000 kWt) with support from EVE and NextGenerationEU, and deploys the EHUagenta 2030 through the Campus Bizia Lab program.
